Josh Chen is a Taiwanese American graphic designer and photographer from Indiana. He was previously a design fellow at the Star Tribune newspaper and a news design intern at The Washington Post, where he designed for print, digital, and social media. He graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and Asian American studies in December 2023.
His photography explores the idea of possibility in the everyday. In his images, he is interested in “feeling queerness” (José Muñoz) through the mundane and familiar.
